Delete your account

What is removed

• Your saved lots.
• Your saved searches and their match emails, including any search made on the TESA website with your account's email.
• Your saved filters and the folders you made in your Portfolio.
• The wards you follow on the Rulings pages, your saved Rulings searches and the City files you saved.
• Your Lot Check history, including the checks you ran before you signed in.
• Your account details: your name, your email and your phone number.
• Your contact record in our customer records, with any Lot Report you claimed and any request for us to call you or write back, unless the record is also kept for something else (see What we keep). Either way, the TESA emails that came with signing in stop.
• Alerts, on every phone where you turned them on.

What we keep

A record that an account existed and was deleted. It holds no personal details, no name, no email and no phone number. Your contact record stays in our customer records only if it is also there for something else: an email list you joined on your own, such as our newsletter; an event or event recording you signed up for; a package or guide you asked for on this website or Instagram; or anything our team added to it. Then it all stays, Lot Report and requests included, and only the TESA emails that came with signing in stop. Write to hello@tesa.ca and we will remove it too. If you opened full listing files, the board requires us to keep that login record for 180 days after your access ends.

Other email lists

Deleting your account does not take you off any other email list you joined separately, such as our newsletter. Those have their own unsubscribe link at the bottom of every message.
